On April 15, Catinca Tabacaru Gallery presents Xavier Robles de Medina: All the Rage, the artist's fourth solo exhibition with the Gallery.

Known for his research-driven practice working with archives and layered narratives, and recently exhibited at the Stedelijk Museum, the Cobra Museum, Framer Framed and de Appel, Robles de Medina here turns to the visual language of today's media landscape.

At the core of the exhibition is "All the Rage," a series of small-scale colored pencil drawings based on news images of Luigi Mangione, his image circulating widely as a reflection of today's polarized public discourse. Built through layers of erasure and hesitation, the works slow down and complicate their source material.

Alongside this series, the exhibition expands into the artist's broader practice, continuing his exploration of political imagery, collective memory, and the construction of spectacle.
